Relationship Therapy

Renée is one of a small number of therapists in Sydney specialising in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

What is EFT?

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is an empirically verified and structured approach. Established by Dr Sue Johnson and based on attachment science, EFT is a humanistic experiential therapy that supports intimate partners through a process of restructuring emotional experiences and amending interactions. Underpinned by extensive research, EFT demonstrates positively effective results that are sustained long after therapy has finished.

Widely applicable across LGBTQ, ENM, polyamorous, and heterosexual relationships - EFT is successfully practiced around the globe.

What is Psychosexual Therapy?

Psychosexual therapy is a specialised therapy. Renée is qualified to work therapeutically with sex and intimacy, having completed a masters degree specific to how our bodies function and the medical conditions that can affect our sexual performance, and up-to-date on research focused on sex, sexuality, and intimacy.

Psychosexual therapy can help with any kind of intimacy difficultly we experience regardless of whether it is caused by a physical condition, medication side effects, fertility complications, emotional/mental issues, the legacy of trauma, or seemingly with no known reason or explanation.

Finding the courage to make an appointment with a psychosexual and relationship therapist might seem unthinkable. However, I am convinced that once we start the conversation in this therapeutic space, we can benefit more than we can imagine.
